Grade Level: 6
Subject: English Language Arts
Duration: 13 days

GOALS
Problem: Bullying is a growing problem in schools throughout the country. Many students within our own school feel they have been impacted by bullying, either as a bully, a victim, or witness. Research bullying, including the causes, types, effects, and possible solutions. Then, come up with a proposal for a program to introduce ways to deal with and prevent bullying in our school. Finally, write a letter or create a presentation to share with teachers, assistant principals, the principal, district office officials, or elected officials to persuade them to adopt your program.
